A fab remote location with woodland walks on the door. Wildlife great - sea eagles, buzzards and herons. Mrs H, Perth, Perthshire 26 October 2010
This was a wonderfully relaxing holiday and the cottage was first class. It is set in a very quiet glen on the edge of a forest at the foot of the Cuillins... spectacular! Ms K, GLASGOW, East Renfrewshire 21 June 2010
For peace and quiet(and lot's of sheep) this is the one! Nice fireplace, room for a BBQ (bring one) and garden. Nice long walks and lovely views. Bathroom upgrade would be nice though...
Mr B, Breda, Noord Brabant 14 June 2010
The Blue Lobster cottage was spacious, had a lovely garden and a waterfall just across the raod, peaceful, what more could anybody want? I wasnt looking forward to going to Isle of Skye for the first time but would definitely recommend it and hope to return before the end of the year! Miss S, LEVEN, Fife 21 April 2010
The cottage was lovely - the photos on the website don't do it justice. The garden is rather large and gives dogs or children ample places to play out in safety. There are two toilets which I also believe weren't on the website details. Mrs T, WIRRAL, Merseyside 18 March 2010
This is a gem. Mr N, HARPENDEN, Hertfordshire 22 November 2009
The cottage was a perfect hideaway. It was warm and cosy and extremely comfortable. The views and garden were amazing and we were lucky enough to get a clear night when we could enjoy the stars. We actually saw the "Milky Way". Had the perfect week there but don't go looking for beaches - there aren't any! Mrs M, COATBRIDGE, Lanarkshire 17 November 2009
The location and quality of the accommodation was the best we have enjoyed for some years! Mr B, LIVERPOOL 19 July 2009
The Blue Lobster is wonderful! Skye is amazing. A truly relaxing holiday. Coral beaches beautiful, Talsiker beach fab. Don't want to leave. Mr L, STOCKPORT, Cheshire 09 February 2009
Incredibly lucky with the weather. We enjoyed all that Skye had to offer, enjoyed the "local" at Carbost. I can recommend a trip to Stein on a beautiful evening. The sun setting makes for great views. Mr J, CAMBRIDGE, 09 February 2009
The Blue Lobster is set in a quiet and beautiful location set at the bottom of a Glen over looking the Loch. The cottage is spacious and has a large garden, with a decked area. Mrs F, Glasgow 27 September 2008
nice place, remote, ideal as a peaceful getaway, perfect for peace and quiet, and for enjoying the outdoors, whether walking or just sitting enjoying the view Mrs F, Birmingham 26 April 2008
